ahh, an easy 4 miles -- Monday lunch break

I felt like running 4 miles, and I did, and it felt good :-)

Will I restart training for a half marathon again? It is too late for the November race I was aiming for earlier this year. I think stubbing my toe was the last straw for that race, I kept hitting the 6-mile wall and then something different would go wrong. I told my sister this while she was here and she said, "Then train for a 10K." But a 10K feels like a lot of bother for a length I can just run on my own without much training.

Half marathons were always my favorite race distance ...

I'll try to get back to 6 miles within the next two weeks, and then maybe this time I'll top that distance before something else goes wrong.

There's a big half marathon in DC on March 16th ... but I'd probably enjoy a smaller race better. Let's get past 6 miles on a training run and then scope out the calendar.

I made an easy BA meal for lunch, and now have leftovers. I often eat a VERY EARLY "lunch" after I run in the morning. And then I need a sizeable snack in the early afternoon.

I'd hoped to quit early today, but there are work items I want/need to complete before I do that. We'll see.
