Hatch Act summary

I reviewed some Hatch Act dos and don'ts for somebody in my position, as I'm about to get involved in organized partisan activity for the first time since before I became a fed. It looks like the main things to remember (until I retire) are:

First, this is your best resource for Hatch Act stuff, beyond your agency's training materials.

Second, you actually can run for local office in a partisan election, because you live in one of the designated localities where that's permitted, though you would have to run as an independent. I look forward to your campaign for county council. ;)
