Our house Internet returned around 2pm, while I was about halfway through my class. I was attending the Zoom session via telephone, and it worked out OK because I didn't really need to see the slides to follow the lecture

Cyberwar perhaps - or signs of deteriorating infrastructure that isn't properly maintened anymore because of greed.
'Cause here it is that during the last couple of years, you have encountered solid power outages - something which didn't happen throughout all the time before since this place on earth here is part of the FRG (in 30 years, that is).
If having to listen to the public speeches of the Greens here and Fridays For Future environmental activists which want nuclear energy, coal and gas to produce electric energy all gone and you take such events in contrast to that, you think of those "These goddamn pampered middle class prosperity idiots! They literally thing the wall produces electric energy because it's horribly bored!" as it seems like they want to quit it all to bomb everyone else who isn't from the richer or middle class back to the technological niveau of the Middle Ages.

I've read about Germany closing all of its nuclear power plants - that makes the transition away from burning fossil fuels even more difficult. It's one issue where I disagree with most Greens, I'm in favor of expanding nuclear power as a "lesser evil".
