If the Russia/Ukraine thing blows, people in the US may not have access to LJ anymore.
I suppose I should urgently back up the months I haven't backed up from my LJ,
but I'll probably just move back to that Dreamwidth account that I should post the name again instead of saying I don't remember the name because the war could break out tonight and then I didn't post the name again but WTF, see how my brain works sometimes?
anyway ... we haven't had a world war while dependent on the Internet before ... I'd practice unplugging from the Internet the way we used to practice "Duck 'n' Cover" when I was a kid, moving into the halls and holding our hands over the backs of our necks to protect our spines,
