Well, this is disappointing, the US Green Party just tweeted "#DefundPolice" -- and I'd re-registered as a Green only a few weeks ago. Now I guess I'll have to re-register as a Democrat again, although there's no rush, no local primary elections this year. Instead of setting up that new monthly contribution to the Global Greens, I'll find some other worthy group.
These days I'm supporting the Left-most non-authoritarian national party that doesn't use "Defund the Police" as a slogan. It's not like I have a lot of national parties to choose from in the US, LOL. So I'm a Democrat again. I last voted for a Democrat for President in 2008.
Haven't picked a new charity for June yet -- been wanting to add another $100/month automatic contribution each month until they start squeezing my budget. Need to wait until after taking this fucking exam to figure out who to add for June.
