Volunteering?

I'm interested in finding groups (preferably young-adult but not necessary) that volunteer in KC. I contacted the Junior League to get information from them but no one ever got back to me--I'm not sure it would be for me anyway. I asked a friend about Bacchus but he said, in so many words, they mostly raise money by getting hammered at parties ( Read more... )

You could consider becoming a CASA volunteer. http://www.nationalcasa.org/ has links to the local groups depending which county you live. They really make a difference in abused and neglected kids' lives.
