Yup. In my mind this first arc ends in a couple more chapters and then I'm not sure where to go with it exactly.

I think once you finish the first arc, you should work on editing that and making it the best it can be and then look into getting it out to a wider audience. Don't worry about making a sequel until you have an idea about where you want it to go. /totally non-professional busybody advice.

That makes sense. I'm just glad that about one year later I'm finally getting the first arc of it done.

no, no - i meant "now i'm thinking about all the HISTORY [of this civ, all the people,etc] in a VERY hard manner - how did the revolutionary group come into being, why are they all named after states [that i think don't exist on their world] is this a COLONY of earth, and they all have US state names because the US was one of the first countries to successfully rebel and created a new type of gov't? how did DANNY get involved, was it something their dad was [BG or no - was already saw with Antigone that some BG *are* at least sympathetic to the rebels] and WHY didn't Danny at least either A) make some sort of -CUT- to his relationship to Janet and Angie [divorce? or something] so that he wouldn't drag them down with him or B) at least let JANET know SOMETHING so that she had good info? or is Danny JUST THAT STUPID?! was Danny in love with Brooklyn, too, at some point, or did i read that wrong? what happened to their MOTHER? when know who their dad was and how he died. how did they all know each other? i mean Danny/Janet/Angie[and dad ( ... )

oh - and in general, this is the type of convo that is easier to have in person, or on the phone. i don't know if you have an idea of the history [other than the clone-thing that created Eric and Hyde, etc] but you should :) and i wanna know what it is!!!!!!!!!!!! lol i'm SUCH a demanding dork

Well, Danny is actually that stupid. And no he loved Torrid not Brooklyn. I'm gonna seriously revamp the first chapter and later chapters so that things make a bit more sense. Mom actually died of skin cancer and Dad died...because...uh...ANYWAY 8D.

We should talk again. How's Thursday work for you?
