Alright!
I finally got my creative juices recharged! It's amazing what a nap after work can do.
CAVERN
Ezeria is curled up asleep against Lillian’s leg, she awakens and gets up, she starts walking toward an unexplored part of the cave
As she digs through some stuff she finds the hand of a Fallen Beauty and some petals/leaves
Lillian wakes up and reaches out for Ezeria, she opens her eye in horror “Ezeria? Ezeria?! Where are you?!”
Ezeria looks up “I’m over here! I found something!”
“Of course you have! You’re good at finding things.” Lillian grabs her sword “Stay where you are. I’m coming for you.”
Ezeria looks at the Fallen Beauty’s body and the tracks she made, she get’s up to follow those tracks, but looks back to make sure Lillian is in sight
Lillian is running toward her, but stops at the Fallen Beauty, she leans down to examine her and is weirded out by what she see’s “Ezeria, shouldn’t we start heading toward your queendom?”
“Do you see that body there? I’ve never seen anyone like that! I want to see where she came from!”
“Well it obviously wasn’t very safe since she appears to be dead.” Lillian pokes the Fallen Beauty with her sword
“The Wasteland isn’t very safe! It’s my job to go out in that!” Ezeria continues on
Lillian sighs “What a curious princess I’ve found.”
GARDEN GROVE
Women are all gathered around, including the Collectors, to listen to the Counsel of Rule Makers talking about what to do about Ezeria and Renza
“This is ridiculous! Renza is usually so level headed.”
“Well after losing her mother, son, and now sister…she was bound to snap. Better for her to leave as opposed to hurting anyone.”
“The question shouldn’t be why she ran off on her own. It should be what do we do now?”
“Isn’t it obvious? We should form a search party and look for her!”
“Lady Renza is perfectly capable of taking care of herself. Whether she finds Ezeria or not is irrelevent.”
“But what of the boy who went missing? Do you think Renza took him?”
“Either that or he wandered off on his own to find Ezeria. Either way it’s a fool hardy endeaver, but he’d be safer with Lady Renza.”
“So what? Do we risk more people to find three?”
“Perhaps it would be better to leave them. They’ll either return or they’ll die. Life will continue on with or without.”
Zizi runs off crying after she hears this, Maudz follows her and offers her some motherly comfort
WASTELAND
Lady Renza and Zach keep following the tracks, but Renza is showing signs of fatigue
Zach offers her water, she snatches the canteen from him and drinks
“I’m surprised how far Ezeria’s gotten. Whoever made these larger tracks must be friendly enough to protect her.”
Zach drinks from the canteen after Renza shoves it back at him
“Come on. We can’t afford to stop now.”
They march on and eventually see the cave
CAVERN/FOREST
Ezeria runs up to the trees
“Ezeria…have you ever seen vegetation so lush?” Lillian is amazed at the change in environment
“Not outside a green house.” Ezeria begins climbing
Lillian kneels down to look at a budding flower, she smiles all happy and sees a woman’s hand touching her own
“Koraline?”
Suddenly the hand grabs her and she flings a Fallen Beauty away from her
Ezeria keeps climbing as Fallen Beauty’s start to scream and run from where the trees are, some look wretched and decays while others are less so
Lillian swings her sword “Stay in the tree, Ezeria! I’ll fend them off!”
“But there are so many! Come up here with me!” Ezeria looks down to see the Fallen Beauty’s start climbing up on top of each other to get to her, Ezeria then jumps to another tree “Come this way!”
Lillian hacks and slashes her way through Fallen Beauty’s and follows Ezeria
They make it to what looks like a metal door, Ezeria looks up and see’s a small opening she can climb up to
“Lillian! I’m going to open the door!”
Lillian looks up at it “But it’s massive! How could you possibly open it?!”
“I’ll find a way.” Ezeria jumps off the tree and grabs onto ladder, she climbs up it while Lillian fights, she eventually get’s up to the opening in the wall and finds a lever “I hope you’re what I think you are.”
She pulls the lever and the door comes thudding down, Lillian runs up it as Ezeria pulls the lever again to bring it back up
Lillian sits and catches her breath, Ezeria climbs down the other side
“Are you okay?” Ezeria looks at Lillian with great concern
“Ha, yes. They weren’t powerful enemies, but they were numerous.” Lillian leans against the door “Where are we now?”
Ezeria looks up “I have no idea.”
