In counting the rejections I've received since the beginning of this year, I realized I'm averaging a little more than one per week. I have written new fiction the past three consecutive days. Hurrah! Prior to that, it was hit or miss. Mostly miss. And most of what I wrote before these past three days was miscellaneous garbage. So Friday I come home from running errands to find a police car and an SUV parked across the street from the house. It's not an Albuquerque police car, nor a sheriff's car, nor a tribal police car. For the past couple of weeks, I've suffered from what can only be called Poster's Regret. I've been double-guessing my LJ posts, my Codex posts, my Yahoo Groups posts, and, well, you get the idea.
