Summary: After solving her first problem in this magical new world, Iskierka goes off to meet more people. And she kind-of told Winry that she would take her flying.
It had certainly been a very eventful day for the poor young dragon. She had flown so long, and one stop for a meal had nearly gotten her into a lot of trouble. Fortunately that whole business with the nomads and their stubbornness hadn't taken too long to deal with. Iskierka had been really off-put by how unreasonable they had been, though thankfully Allen had helped calm her down. It was good to meet a nice young man here, and she suspected that she would see more of him. And after a short discussion about this place and what to do here, Iskierka had returned him to Hisato and went off to find the next person she had said she would meet.
Of course, actually finding Winry was proving to be quite a task. She wasn't shy about flying over towns, as some of the other dragons in her world were, but the city was still a rather large maze of narrow streets and small buildings. Luckily there weren't too many people out at this late of an hour, so to most people she was just a passing shadow. She did manage to scare the wits out of some old lady, though. That would probably cause her trouble later.
After a few passes over the city, Iskierka finally found a courtyard large enough for her to land without knocking over any buildings. It was still a bit of a tight fit, though, and a few unfortunate trees fell victim to her large feet. It was a little uncomfortable, and once was enough for Iskierka to decide that she would be meeting people just outside the city from now on. Hopefully Winry had seen her fly over the housing complex and land in this courtyard, too: Iskierka didn't want to stay there long, and if Winry took too long to arrive then she might just fly away without her. She was a very impatient being, after all.
