Kisame wants her to stay?
Itachi stops in his exit at her admission and Kisame's response. His body is weak and it tires him to remain standing--even with the support of the sturdy house against his hand--but he tries to ignore his own failings and focus on what is transpiring in the yard. Valeria wants to stay. Kisame wants to let her.
She tried to strike me just for slighting him.
Kisame cares for this woman. Whether his feelings are caused by the lies implanted inside them both, or if he has...developed more for her over the course of their relationship... Kisame feels something for this woman.
And she wants to stay with him.
Itachi wants to leave, to relieve Kisame of the burden that is himself--if he left Kisame to her, would Valeria take care of him?--but Itachi cannot. Yet.
Soon. He will have enough of his own strength to accomplish this...but for now, he cannot leave.
He is the interloper, not Valeria.]
It is your decision, Kisame. I'll stand by it.
[He then moves his hand along the wall, trying to find his way. He knows they're watching, but he wants to leave them alone, give them the privacy to speak that he would want for himself.
But he's too weak. The adrenaline he'd felt upon Valeria's surprise arrival has left him, and the lost of it makes him feel more drained than before. His body is still so imbalanced, unused to the lack of chakra and the physical fatigue the loss has brought him. He moves closer towards the doorway of the house--he knows the direction to it at least, but cannot be sure how far away it is--and leans more against the house to remain on his feet.
Such weakness, Itachi thinks. Pathetic.]
