[ Bad news. Bad news, bad news, bad news. Juudai doesn't understand half of what goes on around Yuui or that house full of all those people from Alice's world - there had been some huge meltdown around that couple weeks when he just didn't want to see anyone, and then he'd jsut lost track because he was afraid to walk into something that didn't involve him. (Asuka had come back one night hurt, and though he'd expressed his concern to her, he wasn't around enough to really have a say.) But now something's gone terribly, terribly wrong -

(Fai, beautiful bright little Fai, dead?)

- and Yuui's about to put down the entirety of Mizusato.

( And Juudai understands that feeling, the feeling when the earth tilts under your feet because losing him was more than you could bear, a kind of crushing pain that made it impossible to breathe. It hurts. It hurts more than anything else hurts. As well, he understands what Yuui's doing right now, too. When the unthinkable can happen, you can do unthinkable things. When you decide you can't live in a world where those things can happen. There's only one thing to do with a world like that, and that's to shut it down. Hurt it as badly as it's hurt you. That's the feeling.

Juudai throws the Hitomi away from him and starts running. He was out looking for that hot spring they'd found once, out on the eastern side of the islands. After a while, he finds the border where Yuui's magic (magic? best guess, he didn't seem like a technology kind of guy) pushes his ice outward, the cold half-felt and half-thought, infused with a sort of despair that made it really easy to want to collapse and let the cold take him down -

{ Yubel's presence tightens in his mind, anchoring him to the earth, to breath. You're not going anywhere, love, she scolds, the way she would when Darkness had made his several attempts to drag Juudai into his world along with the rest of Earth. He nods, and his eyes shift colors as their powers merge, and the landscape sharpens into focus around him. }

Juudai shoves his deck into his Duel Disk on the fly, even while running - the chill when he puts it in confirms the presence of Super Fusion. This is his real deck, his not-fucking-around deck. Yuui is currently compromised. Scratch that, Yuui is currently insane, and Juudai needs to intervene before anyone else gets hurt.

When he comes within eyesight of the house, now something more like a lump of ice twisting up in spires - a few people are already there to intervene, damn the luck - Juudai inhales and shouts the second-loudest he's ever shouted in his life: ]
