[ Aurican was actually on the mainland when the broadcast occurred. He haven't seen it until he decided to amuse himself and go by boat instead of magic. While sitting down on the kind fisherman's boat, he pulled out the Hitomi, the strange, magicked box that transmit dreams and messages. Aurican himself had yet to view the video, showing the tragedy of Yuui, until the boat approached the harbor.

By the time he enters the town, he has seen the death and feel the chill. Aurican will not deny he didn't understand lesser beings, but he knew of the pain of a friend, a family member. He remembered Darlantan, and Blayze and Burll and Smelt, as well as his sisters and female cousins. All gone, and Aurican left behind.

However, he had seen the destruction made by unrestrained passion and anguish, desire, and vengeance. This cold must end, for the sake of the village, and the entire land.

The safety of the innocent must be preserved.
