"Wolf, huh?" Jim cracked a smile. "Real beauties, even though I haven't seen many back in my world. They lived in other places." He walked over to a nearby bench and sat down, sudden fatigue snapping at him like a wolf's jaws in attack. Why, he didn't know.

In reflex and concern, he reached out a scratched Blue's ears lovingly. "I'm sorry to hear about your world, Blue." He looked at her, his visible eye dark blue in worry. "Perhaps I can help you find a place to stay?"

Honestly, he wouldn't mind letting her live with him at the house. But a wolf and a crocodile in one room? Not only would that be tense, but the others might start thinking Jim's a animal hoarder. But still, he'd keep it in mind.

He offered a smile at the wolf, and placed his hands in his lap. "Yeah, some aren't tasty, that's for sure. The fish is okay, but I usually try to find truster vendors to buy produce from. Never can be too careful, huh? As for the villages..." He trailed off.

He hadn't seen much of the others. He'd been in Mizosato most of his time here.

"Can you tell me about some of them, Blue?"
