Summary: A little bored and a little lonely, Blue decides to wander into a village to see what’s what.
(
She’s still unsure about the bit of plastic and metal that *keeps following her* )
The large black dog that wandered by got little more than a raised eyebrow out of him. Big, and pretty healthy-looking for a stray; impulsively, he held out what was left of his lunch to the animal. "Hey, there."

She blinked, scenting the tell-tale dregs of illness on him, though that was mostly covered by the fact he smelled like medicine- tart and green.
Coming to a stop in front of him she sat down before leaning forward to delicately take the proffered meat, ears perked forward as the food disappeared quickly, eyes alight in obvious curiosity.

He held out one hand for the dog to sniff, checking it over with an eye for injuries or anything of the kind. He couldn't see anything just by that, and the dog hadn't been limping or walking strangely when it had come over to eat his food. "Do you belong to anyone? Or are you just good at living on your own? You're pretty healthy-looking for a stray."
Ginko was talking to himself, mostly, but he was also used to talking to animals and mushi like they could understand him. It helped to say his inner thoughts out loud, to organize them and decide what he was going to do next.

Though it sounded like he was talking to himself for the most part, the action reminding her of Pops sharply.
Moving closer so he didn't have to stretch, Blue sat down beside the man and leaned against him slightly, warm body pressing solidly against him.

"Hmmm... well, I guess I've stayed around here long enough. Not that I had much choice about that..." Being sick took away a lot of your options. "So... maybe Amesato next, or..." his voice trailed off. Amesato was the closest village to where they were, but it was also a little smaller than some of the other villages. Grinning suddenly, he tugged gently at the fur between his fingers. "Where do you think I should go, hmm?"
It was a silly impulse, asking an animal for directions, but it wasn't like there was anyone close enough to hear him talking to himself.

"I don't know, all the ones I've been through have seemed pretty nice to me. I guess it depends on what you're looking for."
She blinked placid blue eyes at him, wondering how he'd react to actually getting an answer from her.

After a few moments he gathered his wits enough to speak. "Ah... well, I was interested in seeing if I could sell a few things, but mostly I just want to stretch my legs."
His expression becoming rather bemused, he lifted his hand from her fur, resting it on his lap instead. "...hope I didn't offend you."
Reply
"If I was offended you'd know," she informed steadily, still more than a bit amused with herself. "What do you sell? You smell like medicines. My name is Blue by the way. It's nice to meet you."
Reply
"...alright." Well, maybe this wasn't so bad. It was just... really, really strange, and considering what he'd seen in his life, that was saying something. He smiled a bit at her words, not entirely over his surprise but quickly getting that way. "Medicines, actually--I make them myself, your nose is very accurate. And my name's Ginko."

“That's nice, and there seem to be a lot of plants around here- you smell like some of them too.”
She paused, blinking wide blue eyes up at him. “It's nice. I like it.” It was far preferable to him smelling like blood and death at any rate.
