Summary: The Warrior Of Light treks off to mizusato and the ryokan. Probably meeting new people along the way...

He had meant to arrive in Mizusato the day prior--however, he had not realized until after the conversation that Mizusato was located on an island. Procuring a boat for passage proved troublesome, but in the end he had managed to barter passage on one vessel. This might prove to be problematic later on--perhaps if he found out how the people of Mizusato went between the island and the continent, there could be a solution there.

But here he was, walking through the streets of Mizusato in search of the ryokan. He remembered its shape and size well enough from the owner's video of it, but he had not counted on the size and shape of the village, nor on the general similarity in architecture. He was certain he'd find it--his sense of direction was good and he was used to exploring--but it would take a while. In the meantime, though, he could see Mizusato itself.

The island was itself a place of surpassing beauty, such that even he noticed it. He noticed as well, and wondered at, the prevalence of water, of lakes and ponds, streams and rivers, and strange, artificial-seeming ponds everywhere. The village proper seemed a small thing by comparison, both with the island and with the other city he had seen, Amesato, but he did not mind it. So long as it wasn't a ruin, then that would be fine.
