Summary: Jim can’t sleep. Apparently, neither can Judai.
Jim stared blankly at the stars, petting Karen subconsciously as she snuggled her head deeper into his lap, peacefully asleep. The sliver of the moon shone bright silver, almost dancing along the shadows at his feet as he leaned against an outside wall of the abode, allowing it to hold his complete weight as he slipped out a sigh.
He wanted sleep, but how could he fall asleep when something - a strange feeling, almost like a warning, was tugging at him, cautioning him.
He wondered if it had to do with the way the household seemed to silent, almost tense, as if it was waiting for something to happen. Jim frowned at the thought, wondering if everyone - if Judai - were they okay while he had left yesterday to go explore Mizusato?
He hadn’t really talked to anyone since the dream.
He shut his eye closed, trying to force himself to relax as he felt his body tense up. He stroked Karen atop her leathery head, and sighed once again.
Looks like it was going to be a long night.
