[ Gai came over when he was sure that Lee was secure and warm and asleep. It had taken a few minutes to actually leave; he'd had a little bit of a guilty feeling at leaving, but he knew it was safe and all right. Especially as this wasn't just a... sex visit. Lee's death had made him think a great deal. Some of the ways hadn't been healthy or good, and Gai was still working on those. But he had come to one decision, that something couldn't wait and go unsaid any longer. He owed it to Kakashi, and possibly to himself, but mostly his Rival.
Arriving at the tent, he realized it was a little difficult to knock on fabric. ]
