To those of you looking for a place to stay, Natsuno Ryokan in Hisato is offering those of us who they call "newcomers" up to one month free room and board at the ryokan. It isn't a five star hotel, but it is clean and well kept, and the owner has been kind enough to not ask too many questions.
From what information we've been able to gather, the population here believe themselves to have always been living in Kannagara. This particular ryokan has been passed through six generations of a family. It doesn't make very much sense, but... ah, I suppose we can chalk it up to the gods again.
To those of you who are trying to raise money to pay tribute...

This is a ryo. I found it in the belly of a boar. Every time I hunted for the past few weeks, I've collected similar coins like this. I've been told that this is the currency of this world. This ryo is the highest denomination. There are also coins known as mon, shu, and bu.
[ The coin is lowered. ]
I don't have any examples of those, but I suppose it can be assumed that those of us with the ability to hunt can make money by hunting, gutting, and selling the animals.
