[The first thing that becomes apparent is just how furious Sasori looks. The second, that he's quite disheveled, with sand in his hair, and his cloak rumpled and open and offering a glimpse of his unnatural chest. The vista behind him is that of a modest little shrine in the middle of the desert.
There's a faint stream of obscenities that can be heard in the background over the whisper of the desert wind.]
These bastard deities have really sunk to a new low. It wasn't enough that Deidara and myself woke up in the middle of the damned desert earlier. That sort of humiliation is simply par for the course. No, I've been informed that we're expected to pay...to pay divine tribute for the privilege of staying in that dilapidated hovel.
[The source of those background vulgarities appears in the frame behind Sasori: Deidara, looking considerably the worse for wear. His hair is a mess and looks almost...chewed on. He's now resorting to kicking sand at the shrine to vent his ire.
Sasori's eyebrow twitches at his partner's antics, but he doesn't address them.]
And where the hell did all these people come from? There was a whole gaggle of nomads just wandering about in the desert that found us. Admittedly, they had a bit of useful information, and weren't particularly hostile to us, but...
[Deidara abruptly stops in his tracks, and reaches into the pouches at his side, pulling out clay and getting to work on fashioning...something.]
...Well, that's all besides the point. This is truly the final affront, isn't it? Those bastards kidnap us and trap us in this place against our will, toy with our minds and bodies, expose our innermost thoughts to the entire damned world and now, now they expect us to grovel before them for the privilege of being their playthings?
[Sasori's eyes narrow.]
I for one am certainly not going to stand for this. Those so-called gods can, to be blunt, fuck off if they think I'll ever show them a hint of reverence or respect after what they've done to me and the rest of us.
[Sasori looks as though he's about to say more, but he paused, alerted by the tone of the wicked chuckling of his partner, instead yelling over his shoulder.]
Oi, don't blow the shrine up you fool, who knows what they'll do to you if--
[Once again Sasori's interrupted, this time by the massive fireball that bursts into life behind him when Deidara's birds hit the shrine. The shockwave kicks up a considerable amount of dust and whips at his hair and cloak, but Sasori's only reaction is to rub his temples and sigh at his partner's mad cackling.]
Idiot.
As I was saying, this is simply unacceptable. I'm never going to bow my heads to them. Never.
I'm aware that there are differences that divide us, some that may run deep when it comes to those from my world. However, I intend to set these aside, as we, in truth, all have a common enemy-- the bastards who've imprisoned us here. Acting on those old divisions only serves to fuel their entertainment, and I believe that it's time that we put our energy towards working together to oppose our captors. Anyone who likewise intends to stand against our divine oppressors can count me as their ally.
Those who are in agreement on this should contact me, as I believe our first order of business is finding accommodations for ourselves.
[And the last thing heard and seen before the Hitomi switches off is Deidara's cry of considerable frustration, as the smoke clears enough to make it obvious that the shrine is completely intact.]
