{Week 2, Day 5} Accidental Video

[When the Hitomi comes on, the screen is a bit out of whack, and there's some static coming through the audio. After a few seconds, it has righted itself, and is now staring up at the setting sky, what appears to be a pebble and some dust, as well as a splinter, on its surface. It seems creepily quiet, which is to be expected after an earthquake suddenly jars the land and disturbs the life upon it. One such being of life-- if you could call him that, really-- was really just terribly displeased with the world.

There's some noise, now, the shifting of debris as Kadaj unearths himself from the rubble. There's a pause filled with panting, and then a groan of effort as a large piece of wood is heaved off of him. He coughs and runs his gloved hand over his face, smearing some blood from his cuts across it. Thankfully, Amesato houses hadn't been made of anything particularly heavy or damaging, or Kadaj would have a fracture for sure. As it is, he's somewhat shaken, just a little bruised and cut up, and just terribly displeased with the world.

He hadn't eaten the luxurious food that appeared out of nowhere, because the last few days in particular had just been pure chaos, and bountiful, delicious morsels of food appearing out of nowhere sure as hell wasn't suspicious.

...Actually, at this point, he was starting to just distrust things of humans in general. The little house he'd taken a nap in didn't stand a chance against the earthquake that hit the land. Perhaps he'd go back to sleeping outside. Though, he'd make sure his materia was working, definitely. Being attacked like that a few days prior by giant beasts and having so little defense against them was... very, very undesirable.

He swiped the Hitomi, inadvertently clearing its screen (for the most part) and looked down at it. His posture seemed pretty cool and indifferent against his disheveled hair and dirtied face. He recognized the little light that signaled its recording and contemplated taking advantage of the moment. And finally, he spoke, a little edge of insanity to his teasing and condescending tone.]

Looks like these pathetic little structures couldn't hold themselves up in a drizzle. The ones in Midgar would at least put up something of a fight.

Speaking of, I wonder where Midgar is? It should be a lot more obvious, being the capital and all...

[Maybe now he'd find out exactly where he was and get back on track.

Or at least he'd know where he was.]
