[There's Marco, looking like some lost, rough-looking kid . . . but when he speaks, he sounds deadly serious, with his eye level and cold.]
Okay.
There's nothing much I can do about gods or whatever. Whoever can do something about that whole deal, that's great, be sure to do that and try not to get killed if you can. And I do mean that in a sincere way.
My main concern is those freaks of nature outside, with the zombie dogs and the giant men with the ugly teeth. So far we know that these things have poisoned the water, took away the food sources, and drive everyone away from their villages so they can be easy pickings. This type of preparations makes me think that there is some organizational forces out there driving them to this point.
I'm going out there and I'm going to infiltrate their forces.
But in order to do that, I need to capture one of these monsters. The more powerful ones, preferably, should anything happen.
Normally I prefer doing this without dragging other people in missions like these, but I know that in this case, there is no way I can pull this on my own.
[Unless it is the Animorphs of course. The Animorphs he has no qualms in roping them in to whatever scheme he cooks up - everyone knows that they are reasonable for a very good reason.]
