[The feed starts with a fat raindrop landing on the screen, and it leaves tracks at it rolls to the side, leaving the scene a little blurry for a second. And then it’s clear, and the Tree can be seen, the big one in the Himorogi that all the residents of Kannagara should be quite familiar with by now

[He should be used to people randomly coming in here by now, but he definitely haven't expected this. Not that he forgot his brother exists or anything, but the last couple of years he had been living away and only visiting every once in a while, so here in Kannagara it hadn't yet really hit him that Vincent wasn't there, well, apart from a few times and a dream or two, maybe.]

[But right now it sinks in fully; his brother wasn't here, and now he is. And for a moment, he's not even sure how he feels about it. Surely, he's happy to see him, but... he can't help but think that things might get complicated, and --]

[-- heck, what is he thinking? It doesn't matter how complicated it is, Vincent is still his little brother. He needs to make sure he stays out of trouble, and -- well. He's no threat to Oz, so everything is fine, really.]

[Except, well, there's also Break and the fact that those two hate each other and will likely have to spend plenty of time near each other now and definitely Gilbert will be the one to burn in the middle, just like with Elliot this far. Just. It will be two of them now. In addition to young master.]

[WELL, maybe he's overcomplicating things a little. Then again both of his little brothers are rather difficult to deal with... BUT HE'S MANAGED FOR YEARS. IT WILL BE ALRIGHT.]

[So he tries to focus on the happy part of his reaction, because hey, he did kind of miss Vincent he guesses, and it's all nice and dandy except --]

[A leisurely stroll through the network for Break almost costs him his last sip of tea when he happens to stumble upon this feed. That stupid smile and the Chain floating above. The rat of the rat. Of all the people to arrive in this place from his world, it has to be HIM. Well at the very least Lady Sharon was not around to see this unwanted arrival.]

[Break ponders if he should contact the blonde Nightray. Was there really any need? Gilbert is bound to rush out on mounted steed to the aid of his precious younger sibling.]

That's right. That rat has only the intent to follow Gilbert home. I don't have to lift a single finger.

[With that decision Break switched off the feed and moved on while humming a tune that almost sounded like a funeral dirge.]

[And, of course, that assumption is perfectly right. Not at all long after that, having just spoken with his brother, Gilbert approaches Break's room, chewing his lips and wondering just what the hell is he supposed to say. Break has probably seen it already, hasn't he?]

[Granted, he's not leaving Vincent alone out there anyway, but just going to get him without saying anything to the person the house belongs to (even if he did build it) just seems a little arrogant. Um.]

[He knocks on the doorframe before peeking in, looking a little troubled.]

[Clears his throat.]

[Well, uhm. That is. That is.

Way too private, is what it is. Enough to make Rin gape. And really just gape -- at what she's seeing on the screen, kind of forlornly. There isn't even a question about whether she was meant to see that.

So. As she regains her wits, she decides there are a few possible sides to this. One, it could be a dream. Only there was no dream actually attached, so that was out.

Newcomer, then? Him being a new face and sitting under that tree in Himorogi was suspicious. And pointed in that direction.]

[Well, he's properly awake now, at least, and waiting on the calvary to come save him, so he's got time on his hands. So when he gets another video, he puts on a smile, rakes wet hair back out of his mismatched eyes, and answers her.]

Hello? Oh, I'm awake now, but thank you.

[A pause, and then his smile is turning up another notch, as he realizes this might be his first chance to find out exactly what is going on.

You might notice, also, that the giant mouse above his head is gone now.]

I'm Vincent Nightray, by the way, and pleased to meet you, Miss...?

[Never mind that he's wet and sleepy and out of place, he's a gentleman after all~.]

[This catches his attention when he's standing under a tree, sheltering from the rain and flipping through his Hitomi at the same time--amazing how quickly you can get used to this kind of thing, really. A new person? He can't think of why else they would be sleeping in the rain, or sleeping outside period after the events of the past week or so nevermind that he's sleeping outside now, broken ribs and all

But he sees that there are replies to this person already, and he would have just passed him by, just another Otherworlder dragged into Kannagara by the Gods... but then the man opens his eyes. Strange eyes, mismatched eyes. That resonates in Ginko, especially after the dream he had last night.

Ah. Now he can't just skim over this one. He clicks on the video.] Aaah... whenever you wake up... you might want to find someplace sheltered. [Out of the rain, if nothing else.]

Still, Vincent smiles at him. There's no way to know, after all, who the important figures are yet. Better to pick and choose who he offends once he finds out who is in charge around here.]

[He chuckles a little, as if to say that he realizes that he could go find shelter anyway, but for him honestly it's not negotiable, really.]
