[Well that wasn't exactly a normal sound around here. Not when it's loud enough to wake her from where she'd been dozing on the couch after taking the medication that Horse-teeth had given her. Which is why she starts awake with the sound, then peers over the back of the couch towards the door - only to see no one coming in.
She frowns and pushes up to pad around to said door, slides it open sleepily... and sees a rather large bird just laying there.
A rather yummy looking bird that's so helpfully delivered itself to her.
She just knows Gilbert would know the very best way to cook it too.
Which is why she gives a sleepy, contented little hum, then leans down and picks it up by a clawed foot then pads barefoot down the engawa to the kitchen. Gilbert should be home soon, so she can wait for him there.]

[Tobias isn't quite out cold, twitching a few times as he's lifted, swaying back and forth as she carries him off.
He lets out a thoughtspeak groan, flapping his wings weakly and letting out a cry as he discovers an injured wing. He's starting to come to as they arrive in the kitchen.]
[The groan has her dropping the bird on the work table with a start of surprise, because she'd thought it near dead. She frowns at the thing, then steps over to the opposite side and snatched down on if Gilbert's long cooking knives and pads back.
She keeps the arm in a cast there, pressed close to her chest as she reaches out with the knife and pokes the bird experimentally in the side to see if it's actually waking up already, a curious look on her face.]
[Landing on the table wakes him up a bit more, and Tobias is testing his wings, realizing that one is quite possibly broken, when Alice pokes him with the knife.
He lifts his head, blinks a few times and once he gets a look at the knife, Alice has a seriously traumatized bird on her hands.]
Tseer!
[Pain was no longer relevant. Tobias let out a scream as he works his wings and his legs, flopping and flailing his way to the other side of the table and falling to the floor with a thud.
Once there, his body begins to change, feathers melting together as his body contorts and stretches and grows. He starts taking on a distinctly boy-like shape. Without clothing.]
The small stitchpunk sits down in the corner of Lenalee's closet and blinks down at the device. He has never experienced anything like that before, and it leaves him feeling disconcerted.
What gets him the most is the sensation of pain. Four can feel pain to some degree, but this... Is this how humans feel it? So sharp and so accepting. It's so... there. That's what having flesh is like? Muscles? Nerve endings?
The emotions... they were so intense that Four finds himself genuinely frightened of them. He hugs himself and tries to stop his own trembling. So clear and vivid... like they are his own. He finds that he could not relate to many of them, but he can understand that Tobias has lived a much more frightening life than he has anticipated.
He looks out at Tobias with an anxious expression. Are you alright?]
[Matt has heard Tobias describe this, very briefly, little but the bare facts of it, and that's nothing to feeling it himself through the dream.
Seesawing sickeningly between the panic of being stuck, stuck, and about to die--both of them fears Matt carries himself (he can still see, sometimes, the muzzles of all those guns trained on him)--and the comfort of being in a place where you belong, when you thought it was impossible to belong anywhere at all. It would be enough to drive anyone mad.
Matt shakes off the tatters of the dream, tries to draw the line between what was real in the broadcast and what wasn't.]
[Tobias appears upside down, and more of his chest and a sofa is showing than anything.] Uh... I'm... uh. No.
[He reaches up, rubbing at his head a little.] I think she was gonna eat me. I dunno where I am, but... morphing still heals you here, right? 'Cause I think I broke a wing. [He moves an arm around a bit, as if he can still feel the injury.]
[Video -- and the one before was supposed to be video, too. ._.;]bluetailedhawkNovember 18 2011, 03:23:05 UTC
[Tobias still appears upside-down as he looks over his shoulder, as if not entirely sure if he could trust the people around him.] The crazy chick. [He mutters it, looking back at the Hitomi.]
I didn't exactly ask for her name, I just wanted her to not eat me. I woke up on a freaking cutting board.
By concentrating on the DNA of a hawk. And then not concentrating on the DNA of my human form for more than two hours. How did you end up so creepy? [Because, really. That voice was giving him goosebumps. And not the good kind.]

I'll come by later and explain it.

I hope you're alright.
I'll see you soon I guess.

Sorry for scaring you. I'm... the point of my entire existence was to die, at a certain time, in a certain place. That's all.

Learn to fly or don't draw attention to yourself
[A pause before adding]
Or both.

Unless you're human, in which case the answer is obvious.

[Wait a minute, did he just say what Matt thinks he said?]
Who was going to eat you?

From what I gather from that dream, you started as a boy. Just how did you end up as a bird?
