It's been so hard to believe in Allen at all lately; drifting farther away, closer to Road, closer to this world and farther away from their own. And now he is gone. Lenalee can't believe that they have to leave it like that. Can't believe that her last memory of him will be of fighting, of losing him.]

[He flinches at those words, hearing them in Lenalee's voice feeling strange, but he's not blaming her. And he knows even before he looks back at the Hitomi that it doesn't mean anything good, and his first urge is stand up and get the hell out of there.
But he's not going to move, because... Well, he deserves whatever she's intending, doesn't he?
[Well no but the times he was really supposed to die or when he actually did, it was all luck. His Innocence clogging up the hole in his heart (his Innocence just happens to be special, or something, it seems), and now dying here, well, that doesn't matter because you just come back. But it has shown... It has shown that Allen...
Allen is very much capable of dying. "Because he's Allen" somehow works in a lot of situations, Lavi uses it too, but... Not now.

Lavi doesn't respond and just settles on his bed, waiting. She won't be long at all.]
[Lenalee doesn't bother with pretext-- she enters his room on her own, without warning. Fixes him with an irritated, if tearful glare. She doesn't say anything at first, as if expecting him to. But in the end she can't help continuing.]
