Speak in English please...
At the moment I'm enforcing Designers under my supervision to speaks in English for job related conversation. Though it felts awkward at first, now after about two months lapsing it has becoming a regular practices, and we're growing more and more fluent in articulating our thoughts. Practices it's the only way, especially since English is not our mother tongue; while it is for all of our clients. Though they are mostly forgiving (some even has worse grammatical knowledge than I do :P), low mastery of English meant low percentage of ideas delivered.
As of myself, I'm still looking for another means to train with the experts, since I still need to practice my presentation skill. Especially since the senior managers here have reached the level of able to entertain their audience instead of just merely handling the presentation materials.
Previously I was able to track down the existence of Toastmasters in Bali but communication was cut-off, and maybe it's time to continue with the follow up? (byms)
