It's been a loooonnnggg time...
Just a brief, catch up post, since it's been almost a month since I last journaled. The end of Feb/beginning of March has been an incredibly busy one, but a lot of great things have happened. Hit the Slopes was a success, even though I must admit that I was a little worried that everything didn't seem to be coming together until the very end. The Bachelorette- what a crappy ending, I mean, I know its reality tv & those shows don't work out anyway, but I couldn't help feeling a little disappointed. I like to pretend for myself that fairytale endings do exist. Being in Boone, (with ALL that SNOW) made me miss being a student. Not that I missed classes, but I missed being surrounded by people my own age & getting to do things like watch tv, order Chic-Fila nugget platters & eat tons of M&Ms.
My Burlington visit was fabulous as usual :). I helped Brian make stuffed shells which turned out to be pretty tasty! I have yet to make them since I've been home, but it's on my list of things to do! I miss you Brian -- this distance thing is crappy (esp. with $2 a gallon gas!! auughh!)
Also, I got my acceptance letter to grad school at NC State a couple of days ago. I kind of have mixed emotions on it though. I guess when I receive my financial aid info back, I'll be able to make a decision. After all those law school letters, it's a relief to know that I'm not completely unqualified for higher education :) I haven't heard anything yet from UNC & my UNCC application is ready to mail as soon as I get my transcripts back from ASU & MIT.
