I have to take a deep breath, and brace myself for this trip - even though it's only 2 1/2 hours, according to googlemaps. Spouse will be driving separately from Pittsburgh - where he's still at an interview. My plan is to get to the hotel early, find a wig store, relax a bit, maybe squeeze in a nap before the Doubles this evening.
Only slept three hours, but feel okay so far. Mercifully - and even though I was sad for Tsonga - Federer won in straight sets. A pummeling, really - and probably one of the shortest men's semis in a major. So, I got to bed at about 5:00, hours earlier than I thought. Planned to sleep till noon, but woke up when the kitties pounced on my head around 8:00.
So, paid the rent and other bills for next month, cleaned, took WAY, way too long to pack. . . and now I'm off.
I finally found my gps - after 90 panicked minutes of searching.
See some of you there!
