With his victory over Lord Voldemort at the Second Battle of Hogwarts, Harry Potter found himself in a professional and psychological quandry. His position as the most well-known wizard in England cemented, Harry saw every job offer as one he didn't truly earn, every Quidditch tryout as a club's greedy attempt to sell more t-shirts and season tickets. Harry delayed and delayed his decision for employment, living off of his inherited house and finances before finally relenting, taking a job with Arthur Weasley's Muggle Relations Department. After an increase in terrorist attacks in the Muggle world, however, Harry was transferred to a new Muggle/Wizard criminal taskforce, where he remains to this day. Since 2011, Harry has also been making annual trips to Hogwarts in order to give guest lectures and lessons to Calamus Squall's Defense Against the Dark Arts classes.
Harry's global popularity has also taken a toll on his personal life, at least early on. He often had to remain in hiding at his house on Grimmauld Place to avoid roving paparazzi, and his relationship with Holyhead Chaser Ginny Weasley was regular front-page tabloid material. As the years passed, though, and his life settled down, the mobs of flashing cameras and waving Quick Quote Quills faded with it. He still gets the occasional owl for an exclusive interview, and still finds the irritating Rita Skeeter in the most unlikely places, but he has often contemplated finally settling down to write an authorized biography so the world can hear what he has to say and finally leave him alone.
Harry Potter married Ginny Weasley 15 July 2001. The two have three children: James (Year 5), Albus (Year 3), and Lily (Year 1). They also have one godson, Teddy Lupin, who was raised as an integral part of their family.
