You know what I hate most about grad school?
Classes. My research is starting to get really exciting, but I don't get to think about it this weekend. No, I just get to think about two sets of homework and a midterm next week. In the back of my mind, I'm going to be imagining the joys of studying the topology of an energy landscape I'm studying, but I have to keep less revolutionary material at the front of my mind, just to avoid failing out.
I haven't yet internalized the Piled Higher and Deeper comic about how you don't need to worry about grades as long as you do well enough to pass.
