Saturday November 26 - 6:36 pm On her way to the Restaurant

It had been decided that Rika and her two friends Yumi, and Ritsuko would celebrate their birthdays together. They were all pretty close together and it just made it easier to get the party over with all in one sitting. Unfortunately during the school festival it consumed a majority of their time so now it was a frantic rush to get it all thought

Yumi pulled at her big puffy coat. She felt underdressed as she watched the people entering and leaving the restaurant. Her black jeans could pass as semi formal and her silk shirt under wasn't bad at all. It was dressy. Yumi began to run her fingers through her blond hair as she waited.

After her club meeting, Ritsuko had went home to prepare for their get together. She dress in a long sleeve green shirt which had dark and light green stripes on it. Over that she wore a black suade material dress that was like a tank at the top and the pleated skirt came just above her knees. She had on black tights and black suade boots to match. She had even put a few curls in her hair. She had to keep herself busy to keep her mind off of Mattie. She had told him about the little party some time ago. She wondered if he would show up tonight.

Arriving at the restaurant, Ritsuko wondered whether anyone else was there yet. With her, she carried two presents, one for Yumi and one for Rika.

Mattie had decided it would be awkward if he showed up and he didn't want to ruin the party after they worked so hard on planning it. He assumed Kasai would still show and sent him a message explaining something had came up and wouldn't be there also to tell the others for him. After he shut his phone Mattie laid back down on the couch to continue trying to watch the TV.

Lingering around the entrance of the restaurant, Ritsuko debated whether she should go in. Just as she had her hand on the door, she spotted a blonde girl not far away. She smiled as Yumi was not easily missed, and began walking over to her friend. The smile felt forced as her sorrow was still great. "Hey Yumi. Been waiting long?"

Jiro hesitated outside the restaurant. He was positive this was the place; he had heard Yumi and Kasai talking about it earlier in the week. At one point, Yumi had invited Jiro to come. She was probably just joking, but Jiro was going to use it for his advantage.

He shifted his hand in the pocket of his jacket. In his pocket was a small wrapped present for Yumi. It had occured to him that he should have probably gotten a gift for the other girls as well, but financially he couldn't afford it.

With a gulp, Jiro entered the restaurant. He didn't have to look long to find them. Waving of the waiter, Jiro headed towards their table. "Happy birthday!" he said when he was within their ear shot. He offered a smile, unsure what he should do next.

Yumi grinned back in surprise. "Jiro what are you doing here?" Yumi sounded excited and moved over making room next to her. "Well come on, sit, sit."

Jiro was pleased with her reaction. He had almost expected to be turned away. "Thanks," he said while grabbing a seat. "I got you a present," he said looking at Yumi. Looking at the other two, "I'm sorry. I should've gotten you two a present as well, but I didn't think about it until I was already here.'

Rika smiled not minding the lack of gift. "It's alright Jiro, I am fine save your money."

Tonight was Rika's birthday dinner, and Ryo planned on attending. He had chosen his outfit to coordinate right down to the shoelaces. Time wasn't a concern of his because he didn't care if he did show up late.

The only thing he had left to do was pick up Rika's present. The more he thought about it, the more it seemed impossible. How could he possibly ask Kazuya for that? And to just seek him out and beg for it? He bit his lip. He should have thought about this in more detail and gave himself more time

Yumi looked over in confusion as Ryo sat at their table. "Uh..." was all the response she could get out.

Rika looked over in surprise too, she really didn't think Ryo was paying attention when she mentioned the party in passing but here he was. What shocked her the most was the way Ryo had dressed. It was so out of character and Rika felt herself blush, he did clean up nicely. The fact that her secret would have to come out now that he was here didn't bother her. In fact Rika didn't think about it as she just watched Ryo in awe.

Jiro looked around the table, confused. It was nice that the attention waasn't on him anymore though!
