Wow, it's been ages since I posted anything /o\ But in case anyone is still hanging around here, I figured I post some pics of Matty and co that I took in June :D ( Read more... )
I really wish I had the money and time to go with you. Going on my own sounded scary and overwhelming but in a group of friends it might be different. This all sounds awesome indeed.
I have not read much about the play, I don't even know what the story is about - when you say he was an observer, what exactly was his role? How much screentime did he have? I always thought he was one of the big three stars, but this sounds more like an ensemble show?
ALL of his clothes? Oh boy ;) Did you know that when going in from reading reviews, or was it a surprise? And perfect seats are perfect! Wouldn't want to sit in upper circle for that LOL I always want to sit close to stage too, to see their eyes and expressions. Even if it's more expensive.
And stage door pics! I guess I won't have the luck to see Matt at an European convention so stage door is the only way to meet him. Does he recognize you by now?
Side note: on that group picture on the stage he looks so small between all the others!
The basic gist of the play is that friends gather at Jim Parson's home to throw one of the a birthday party but what starts as one innocent evening turns into an ugly mess as more alcohol is consumed and more things are getting said

Thank you for explaining it all to me! I probably would have set there and just followed Matt, even if he was doing stuff in the background, and not looking at anybody else. I tend to do that.
I agree, first row is way overrated. Row 5-6 is still enough.
Imagine, if you had not known, you might have embarrassed yourself ;) We once were in Panto with John Barrowman. Panto is usually family show for children, over the top and ridiculous. But in the middle of it Cinderella had a dream and all of a sudden a glittery curtain came down, and out came John Barrowman in black suit and top hat and with a cane and started to dance like Fred Astaire. It was so unexpected and he looked so good that I did let out a squeal LOL
Usually in Panto people are encouraged to boo the bad guys or yell "It's behind you" but unfortunately in this very moment everyone else was quiet so I was the only one. How embarrassing ;)
So I wonder how the general public reaction to the shower scene was? Just stunned silence?
Heee, well, sometimes you just have to squeee, it helps when the lights are dimmed :D
Thankfully, it was all silence on audience part, Jim was talking while Matty was taking that shower so there’s that. A few ppl definitely stopped breathing for a sec, lolol :D
