I really wish I had the money and time to go with you. Going on my own sounded scary and overwhelming but in a group of friends it might be different. This all sounds awesome indeed.

I have not read much about the play, I don't even know what the story is about - when you say he was an observer, what exactly was his role? How much screentime did he have? I always thought he was one of the big three stars, but this sounds more like an ensemble show?

ALL of his clothes? Oh boy ;) Did you know that when going in from reading reviews, or was it a surprise? And perfect seats are perfect! Wouldn't want to sit in upper circle for that LOL
I always want to sit close to stage too, to see their eyes and expressions. Even if it's more expensive.

And stage door pics! I guess I won't have the luck to see Matt at an European convention so stage door is the only way to meet him. Does he recognize you by now?

Side note: on that group picture on the stage he looks so small between all the others!

The basic gist of the play is that friends gather at Jim Parson's home to throw one of the a birthday party but what starts as one innocent evening turns into an ugly mess as more alcohol is consumed and more things are getting said ( ... )

Thank you for explaining it all to me! I probably would have set there and just followed Matt, even if he was doing stuff in the background, and not looking at anybody else. I tend to do that.

I agree, first row is way overrated. Row 5-6 is still enough.

Imagine, if you had not known, you might have embarrassed yourself ;) We once were in Panto with John Barrowman. Panto is usually family show for children, over the top and ridiculous. But in the middle of it Cinderella had a dream and all of a sudden a glittery curtain came down, and out came John Barrowman in black suit and top hat and with a cane and started to dance like Fred Astaire. It was so unexpected and he looked so good that I did let out a squeal LOL

Usually in Panto people are encouraged to boo the bad guys or yell "It's behind you" but unfortunately in this very moment everyone else was quiet so I was the only one. How embarrassing ;)

So I wonder how the general public reaction to the shower scene was? Just stunned silence?

Heee, well, sometimes you just have to squeee, it helps when the lights are dimmed :D

Thankfully, it was all silence on audience part, Jim was talking while Matty was taking that shower so there’s that. A few ppl definitely stopped breathing for a sec, lolol :D

BTW, I’m in London this weekend :P Oh, lookie...

That's a film festival / film premiere right? I did read about him being in London but I know so little about these things. If it is worth it going on the chance. If there is audience participation (there was a film festival with Sean in the beginning of this year where they had a proper Q&A with audience questions but it was about an old film he had done many years ago).

I just don't want to stand in a crowd for hours and then just see him flash by. I would not even know how and where to get tickets. It's all a bit overwhelming but looks like you have fun! That's a really great picture, very sharp! Mostly these are blurred.

A proper con with picture guarantee would be more to my liking. Plus it's my birthday this weekend and my parents would have been unhappy about no party.

That sounds all very great! Of course you also need the right weather for it. Wouldn't be much fun in the rain...

I'm all good with camping for hours as long as I have access to a toilet! Talking with fellow fans is always nice, we did that while waiting at the "Much ado about nothing" stage door for David Tennant.

I probably would not want a picture of Matt but rather one WITH him so I guess that is more complicated - especially since I don't have a phone for selfies so someone would have to take it for me.

I wonder if we will get to see Matt's movie in regular cinema?

Maybe if something else pops up, if you could give me a quick shoutout what you plan to do and where I can get tickets I might come along if it's the right time. It's nice that you got to meet Cookielaura!

My birthday is tomorrow so you are in fact early LOL

In my newly (re-)found love for Matt I stumbled about the trailer for this and it does look really great! It seems to hit more movies in America now, I wonder if it will come to Europe as well?

Hi :) the movie is beautiful but still has such limited availability... but yesterday I found out that it will be shown in Munich during the film festival at the end of the month, so if you can make it there, it's soooo worth it ♥ https://www.filmfest-muenchen.de/en/programm/filme/film/?id=6139

Aww, that really isn't around the corner and I have no money and no vacation days left :(
I have travelled a lot during the past years, first a German convention, then Hugh Jackman concerts and finally a trip to London for another con and Tom Hiddleston in theatre (plus an unexpected look at David Tennant and Mark Gatiss at the "Good Omens" premiere at the same day)

I can't leave work again, we are swamped right now. Do we know if there will be a DVD?
