SUPER UPDATE LIST 3000!

- Ash and I moved down to just about the coolest neighborhood in the city- The Gaslight District of Clifton. Ever since my big Sis started bringing me down here when I was little, I always knew that it was "the place" for me. So here we are... literally steps away from our favorite theatre (The Esquire), my favorite Italian restaurant (Biagio's), living on the same block as Dewey's Pizza, a Skyline, and within walking distance of a grocery store (which has been bad since I've blown a shit ton of money each night after work- I walk down the hill, buy some shit just to to buy shit-then walk back-it's great!)... FUCK! This is the first apartment I've had, where I can't wait to get home! I'm very happy!

We're surrounded by tons of like-minded people... the neighborhood is safe and has an insane amount of character... and we can walk everywhere! Movie? Walk. Bar? Walk. Indian food? 3 different places right next to eachother-pick-and walk! Party at a friend's house? Walk! That's the best part of all... Ash's sister has a boat load of super liberal teacher friends who all live down here, and they've been so kind as to adopt the two of us, and we've already been to a great party (which we could walk to), and have been invited out to dinner at Biagio's... oy vey. I love this place. I had always said, that if I could move down to the gaslight, then I would not mind living in Cincinnati... and I don't mind it at all.

- I've been a volunteer with Barack Obama's Campaign for Change here in Ohio for a few weeks now... I think I've made somewhere around 200 phone calls, and it has been quite the adventure. My first few voter lists were of people around Cincinnati, which surprisingly yielded more Pro-Obama results than initially anticipated. However... my latest lists have been of people who reside in Eastern Ohio (I recently heard a story on NPR where it was revealed that a lot of people in this part of the state view Barack as a terrorist)... and let me tell you- It has not been good for the Obama campaign. I've called 50 people from this part of the state, and even though I have not actually spoken to all 50 of them (most not being home when I called), I've only had one confirmed "Yes" for Obama. And it's shit like this that still makes me very nervous about the upcoming election. Let's hope for the best... oy vey.

- I'm back in school.

- I asked Ashley to marry me! Over the years I've let myself get carried away with the "what-if"'s in life... and uhm, yeah... I can't do that anymore! Things with Ash have never been better... and we've both been in a pretty good place/we're still in a good place... so it only seemed natural. We went out for her birthday celebration dinner last Sunday at the Precinct (even though Ruby is right-wing) and the food was friggin' amazing... and afterward we went for a walk at Ault Park which was the site of our first date... and I proposed while the sun set in the rose garden... El yay! Funtimes... oh, and I did ask her Dad for permission-and that was crazy.

- I should be writing a paper, and studying for an exam- so that is what I'm going to do.
