I got a bee up my bonnet on Thursday and cut out the bodice of a brown Tudor-style kirtle to wear under a blue/tan/brown late 16th C. women’s doublet. I had previously started a high necked chemise, which I need to get back to, but for now I can wear my square necked chemise under it in needed.
