A Slight Detour

Twenty-five million, three hundred forty-seven thousand, one hundred nine people called us last night to let us know that there's an ice storm covering Interstates 40 and 44 (also known as the route of the former U.S. Highway 66). We know! That's why we're still on Interstate 10 headed towards El Paso.

Were I thinking properly you would be about to see the snowcapped palm trees in San Bernardino. But you'll have to just take my word for it, 'cause we've got this instead for the picture of the day.

kamoranakrre hopes to take I-10 to I-20 to I-30 to I-40 and then up I-55 from West Memphis. That would take him through a huge part of Texas he's never seen (not that there's much out there a lot of the way...) Maybe there'll even be Lambert's in our future? :)
