Weekend That Wasn't

Seems to be a running theme of my life recently. Getting more stuff done on weekends than weekdays, but having no real time off because of it!

This weekend started with a party at Sorethumbs house, with people playing a PS3 game in a post apocalyptic Tokyo. You're various animals trying to survive before you die of starvation, toxicity, or other predators. There was guacamole and drinks and melted brie in bread. It was quite pleasant until a few people started up their vomit factories. Hid on the (quite comfortable) porch most of the rest of the evening, because I have a weak stomach around vomit.

Sunday was spent further cleaning and organizing the house. The future home of axolotl's in our bedroom is finally ready to begin cycling. I also picked up a christmas tree and some lighting! This is the first time I've had christmas decorations since moving out from my parents almost a decade ago. Really excited about it! Also cleaned up the bathroom hardcore, removed very very old caulking from around the bathtub and freshly caulked it. Picked up a new shower curtain too so the bathroom (mostly) appears new now.

Then yesterday was a lot of running around doing errands. Made some crock pot chili for breakfast, then ran off to Manchester to donate blood, shipped out around 20 skulldog plush orders for Kei (they are available for order now!), then got to working on replacing car lights that ultimately failed my inspection last week. Just made an order this morning for a new fog light assembly. Hopefully be legal by the end of the week (assuming I can figure out how it goes in).
