I have to admit, I've been a ginormous (it's a word!!) fan of THE SOUTHERN VAMPIRE SERIES by Charlaine Harris for years now. It's one of the few permanent fixtures on my pre-order list at Amazon.com.

"Forget Edward Cullen! Eric will take a bullet for you AND repave your driveway!"

LOL!

I love your rundown on True Blood. I actually caught the last half hour last night, first time watching it ever, and all I could respond with was "...the hell? *five minutes later* ...the hell?!" I'm not sure what I was expecting from it, but I definitely did not get it.

Also: I agree. Moyer makes Compton look like a greaseball. It was gross.

Yeah, that was basically my reaction during the last half of Episode 3 too (and I've read the entire series! LOL)

See the thing is HBO is basically taking each book in the series and making it into an entire season so Chapters become Episodes and it leaves us with an OMGWTF?! kinda thing because there's still several chapter missing we need to read before the end of the book/episode.

But Eric's appearance next week should def clear up a lot of confusion (and crank a lot of female libidos into overdrive LOL). Eric is everything Bill's not. Including--wait for it--CLEAN!! hehe :-) I can't wait!
