LMAO! God, I L-O-V-E Tina Fey! :-D
Unless you've been hiding yourself under a rock in Siberia somewhere you already know about the announcement by Republican Presidential candidate John McCain of the choice of Alaskan Governor (and sassy soccer mom *Z snap*) Sarah Palin as his VP.
Now, I want to make this clear from the start: I DO NOT intend for this blog to become a battleground between McCainiacs and Obamanites to further their own political agendas. I'll comment on things regarding the election from time-to-time, yeah, but I've chosen to keep my opinions to myself for now. That may change in the near future or it may not. We'll see. It's MY blog and I'll veto if I want to! *Rasberries*
That said... I absolutely ADORE Tina Fey!! Always have, always will! :-)
Which means, I--like millions of other SNL fans around the country--just about sh!t a brick when I heard she'd be making a guest appearance on SNL to spoof Sarah Palin. Especially since Tina's almost a dead ringer for Palin. (Or is it Palin that's trying to look like Tina? Things that make you go hmm...) With the bangs and the highlights and beatnik glasses? Even Madame Tussands would be hard pressed to tell the difference!
Tina didn't disappoint us either. Check it out!
I think she and Amy Poehler (a.k.a. "Hillary") did an AMAZING job!
And when Amy/Hillary says she's "frankly surprised" to hear people suddenly care about sexism in politics (referring to the sexist remarks Hillary had to grin and bare during her campaign) I really felt for Senator Clinton. Poor Hillary!
But my favorite part is when Tina/Sarah says, "And I can see Russia from my house!" LMAO I just about spit my mocha frapp through my nose then!
You know what? Screw Obama and McCain!

And for all the Democrats reading this blog, there is something good that'll come from McCain/Palin winning the election that even you can't dispute--SNL will have to back Tina to come back for the next four years!! Because she's the ONLY person who can play Palin to perfection!
**NOTE: I don't mind people posting derogatory or complimentary remarks concerning Palin but please watch the language you use when you do. "Bitch" is acceptable. Other insults like "cunt" and "whore" are not because I find them extremely offensive (in general) as a woman. There are plenty of other words in the English language you can use that won't get your comment deleted. Be creative but respectful please.
