On Tuesday, July 31 my mother died at 1:18 AM. She did not suffer and is now at peace with God and her beloved husband. There really isn’t much more to say then that. We are currently making final preparations for her funeral which will be held on Friday.

I had hoped to do a quick post on Wednesday morning stating that we had brought Dad home Tuesday night but life didn't slow down enough for me to get the time. Just as I'm starting to feel I'm getting caught up after being away for nearly a month life gets interesting yet again. Last Thursday I went up to take my parents grocery shopping, as usual, and found both of them plopped in their chairs, too tired to go.
