It beat out all the Square pieces. Seriously!

The University of Maryland Gamer Symphony Orchestra has MP3s and videos up of their spring 2011 concert, which grysar and I attended. My favorite piece is "Objection," a medley of songs from Phoenix Wright. (I swear I will make a post at some point that does not mention Phoenix Wright. It's just not going to be this post. ;p)

It was a lot of fun. If they'd been in existence way back when I was looking at colleges, it might have tipped the scales in College Park's favor. A large campus and student body is far less intimidating when you know you have a niche into which you can fit. ;)

Maybe because of this I've been having dreams lately about playing my clarinet. I haven't touched it since high school, and I'm not sure if it even still exists. If it is packed away somewhere, it's probably in terrible shape. I still remember most of the fingerings, though, which is reasonably impressive given all the things I've forgotten since high school.

Back to Phoenix Wright... is it just me, or does the first game have the best soundtrack out of all of them? Maybe it's just because it was the first one and I developed an attachment to all the songs and thought they'd all be back for subsequent games.
