At some point, I may make a proper entry about what I've been up all this time (spoiler: the vast majority of it isn't that interesting) but until then, I leave you with this: what does it say about me that what I found to be the most exciting announcement out of E3 was the fourth Professor Layton game (Last Specter/Specter's Flute) being confirmed for a fall release in the US?
I was worried that since they'd already announced an English release of the fifth game (Mask of Miracle) for the 3DS last year, it'd be skipped over. Sadly, though, it looks like both the Layton/Phoenix Wright crossover and the second Edgeworth game will remain Japan-only, although I have some hopes of Nintendo eventually picking up the crossover.
