Today's fun headline:
Root canal is easier when the polar bear's sedated.
I'd, uh, kinda think so. ^^;
In other news, I seem to be coming down with a cold. And, as I have found in the past, noting this on LJ seems to be the best way I have of tracking how often I get sick. In this case, I've been good since late September of last year, so that's not a bad time between colds. I used to average one every two months, so I'm not really complaining here. Plus, I have the weekend to rest (though Greg and I will be doing some wedding stuff).
In other other news, I am really enjoying The World Ends With You. It took me a little bit to get the hang of the dual-screen system (for a while I was just letting the AI control my partner) but once I figured it out things got a lot more efficient. I'm still not so great at having them dodge/move around, but most of the time they take so little damage that it's not an issue. I'm thinking about kicking the difficulty up to Hard and seeing how that goes.
Right now I'm on Day 3 of Joshua, doing a bit of levelling so I can take on the Blue Noise boss in the park. I'm obsessing a bit about collecting/evolving pins, which I kind of expected, but it's a lot of fun trying all the different kinds out and it's not impeding my progress to the point where I'm getting bored or frustrated, so no real worries yet.
