Christmas food
The chestnuts were probably attempting to be a metaphor for the Doctor Who Christmas special; they were well-cooked, but it was almost impossible to get them out of the skins without their crumbling.
But it appears to be the thing to post photos of food today, so here's my Christmas dinner.
Moving in, that's the special lentil loaf (lentils cooked in red wine), then slices of butternut squash and red onion baked in mustard cream, then the sprouts (as depicted earlier on tree).
The same, on a plate.
And Christmas pudding with brown bread ice cream.
