Off the mark, third time lucky

That was really rather unexpected. Lancashire beat Glamorgan by 14 runs, with only 153 to defend. After two draws when we should have declared a lot sooner to try and bowl out the opposition in their second innings, we finally seem to have rediscovered the winning formula*: get dismissed cheaply yourselves, so you have to bowl out the other lot

Congratulations! How many years can Glen Chapple keep going for? :)

I'm very hopeful after two days of Surrey's match against Middlesex that they too can get off the mark at the third time of asking. And a win against Middlesex is always especially sweet.
