I've been in London for a few days, which somehow resulted in
a few snapshots.
One of the few sales aids the Little Wonder didn't come up with to promote his sports equipment. But I ate at the CHI Thai vegan cafe round the corner, in St Martin's Lane.
Something about a Golden Eagle flying into the middle of the big wheel appealed to me. Probably not a good survival tactic, though.
Concrete fossil, taken from same spot as previous.
Further along the Embankment, Boudicca charges Parliament (as seen by cousin Thornycroft).
I prefer this end of Parliament. I'd never looked at the Buxton Memorial (foreground) before; appropriately, it turned out to commemorate
Thomas Fowell Buxton, who campaigned for the abolition of slavery (1833) as opposed to the slave trade (1807, as we are currently remembering).
I concluded my promenade along the Embankment at Tate Britain where I saw the
Hogarth exhibition.
I remain thankful that I no longer live in London. It's so dirty that every time I blow my nose the handkerchief turns black.
