You'd better lick your fingers clean
1. My craft stuff is officially getting out of control. Attempts to organize it in such a way that it is all accessible and nothing is getting crushed by anything else have led mostly to hair-pulling frustration. But I shall yet prevail.
2. Chocolat is a much more engaging movie than I remembered. The only other time I saw it, I mostly came away with a vague impression that Johnny Depp was hot and Judy Dench was awesome. Beyond that, I could barely remember the movie. This time, I found myself quite charmed by all the secondary characters and their stories. As a bonus, Irina Derevko as the broken, half-crazy woman whose husband is played by Lev from Armageddon!
3. I remain somewhat impatient with Stephen King and his circuitous way of telling the story in Dead Zone. Not giving up yet, just ready for the A Plot to show up any time. I'm sure the random events currently being described with methodical slowness will eventually be revealed as significant (well, most of them probably will, anyway) but right now I just want something to happen because mostly I'm being introduced to people and then introduced to more people and told how people I've already met are getting on, but I don't know why I'm supposed to care in most cases, so...yeah. A little bit sloggy at the moment.
4. I had dreams with Transformers in this weekend. I spent some time being pursued by Decepticons and then teamed up with Sunstreaker, who had an inexplicable New Jersey accent. *eyebrow* I have no explanation.
