So I'm keeping up with the friendslist but haven't really been posting much the past few days because I'm
monster-hunting in Whiskey Lake, Maine. Don't worry, I'm staying away from clowns and storm drains, though I can make no promises about unusual birds. The town's nice, and it looks like the hunt will be on for another few days, at least, so anybody with a little time on their hands who's prepared to be sucked in by
amberdulen's superior world-building and GMing skillz should really think about dropping by.
When I'm not poking around on the trail of the unknown, I'm reading
"Old Rebel Yeller" by
big_pink. Winchesters, Civil War reenactments, and a ghost from one of the most interesting battles in Lee's early campaign. Plus Sam being amused by how discomfiting Dean finds the hardcore reenactors. Pretty much can't go wrong, though I'm only on the fourth chapter, so there's plenty of time for the roadblock head-shrinking to strike.
