In which I bid you farewell (for the week)

Right, lovelies, I'm off to Mammoth for the week. Camping, hiking, swimming, playing with fire, reading and re-learning how to crochet are all in the plans. Shall try to avoid being eaten by local wildlife. Thankfully, I'll have a husband, a mother-in-law and the pixies with me, so if necessary, I can throw one of them to the bears/mountain lions/zombies if a diversion is required for me to make my escape back to civilization.
