Overdue Update

For spn_summergen this year, my gifter wrote me TWO fics based on two of my prompts!! One for the challenge itself and another as a bonus chaster after. What a generous and creative spirit! Please go tell them what a gem they are:

So no more stories about how Sam and Dean are needed in Michigan?

Sam and Dean will always be needed in Michigan. The state needs help! XDDD

What's funny, is that of my 6 summergen prompts, I'm pretty sure half of them were variants on "Sam and Dean are needed in Michigan"--but those ones weren't chosen. The Michigan SOS has been ignored, LOL. It will have to fend for itself.

"build it into my practice" is definitely the trick--I had it going for a while, and then crashed and burned, and now am trying to remember what it felt like to post regularly. But it's lovely to see you here again! Thank you for last month's birthday note!!!!

I think my issue is that really, I NEED FEWER THINGS in my practice, not the addition of more. Need to actively take things out. Maybe after "ignore this daily call from GEICO because I asked for one online quote" passes out of my system, lolol...

Hey, stranger! Been wondering how you are! Hope life settles down for you soon. (I need to post an update of my own... just haven't had the spoons for it lately.)

Ditto on shared love for The Expanse, Reservation Dogs, and the need to reduce the number of things to deal with!

I started another watch-through of The Expanse immediately on finishing the previous one, haha. I'll probably do the same with Reservation Dogs, because I like having a 30min show on hand if the 45-60min is too long.

THE WOE OF COURSE BEING that even though there are Too Many Things the reality of the situation is that there are also too many things I am not doing and need to be doing. Sigh!

Wow, you moved and got a new job! Those are big, life-changing events. Congratulations!!

I, too, finished the Expanse; so much to love except for the shortness of the last season!

Thank you!!

And UGH so much to love, indeed. After I finished I started over from the beginning basically immediately. I'm surprised they were able to cover as much ground as they did in so few episodes in that last season! Though I guess is followed pretty seamlessly from S4, and I watched them back to back, so I basically treated the two of them like one season.
